Alright, with all the Super Bowl festivities around here the rumours are working overtime. A friend of mine just called me to tell me the Hip were playing (with all people) Bon Jovi here in Windsor on Saturday- can this be true? If it is I'm going to be one VERY angry girl; I have Kid Rock tickets for Saturday night at Joe Louis Arena, and I there's no way I can give the ticket away- in order to cross the border we needed to call ahead and give our personal info to the border police so we can cross. If the creds don't match- you don't cross.
I'm not a Kid fan by any stretch; I'm going with a group of people and we'll have a good time anyway. But if this is true... well, I'm pretty sure I'm going to full out bawl.

I love Windsor. Use to go there every Thursday and Friday, when I was 19 and 20 during the summers. Good time

It's a security thing. You don't normally but they want to keep the crossing to a minimum and keep the lines moving fast. This is just for the tunnel bus- I'm sure regular car traffic wouldn't have to, but then again I wouldn't want to endure the wait. We have to check in an hour before we leave, and our bus leaves at 2pm! We're going to have a blast downtown Detroit; I hear there's a ton of stuff to do. The concert itself is at 8.

Great. I just full out cried at that mere suggestion. A few years ago Casino Windsor employees were treated to the Barenaked Ladies at their Christmas party at it took a while for me to get over that. My brother worked for the casino then and even though it isn't his fault, I'm still mad at him for it.
And now the armouries thing. Who do you have to be in this town to get an invite?? *cries some more*
I would eat this Kid ticket in a heartbeat if there was a chance I could get into the rumoured Hip show.

That Barenaked ladies show was quite good.
I am not a fan....but was very, very impressed by them at that Casino employees show.
