Down Home Girl
7/15/1988 - Horseshoe Tavern: Toronto, Ontario
**edit** Thanx to hotmetal401 - this is a cover tune originally done by The Coasters and covered by several bands including The Rolling Stones, Alvin Robinson, Nazareth, etc...
I believe this song was later re-worked into Boots Or Hearts.

And with a thank you to Chris, Chris - all the past songs are located here for you listening pleasure:

Down Home Girl is a cover. I believe the Coasters did it first, but the Stones covered it in the 60s. I had an mp3 of the Stones verson but seem to have deleated it.

Great choice of song though Dana. I can definetly hear the simularities between this and Boots now that you've mentioned it.

Cheers
