John Cage had come to feel that concerts should be stretched out over 20 generations.
Wow. I actually found that article extrememly interesting. Thanks :thumb:
Kind of neat.

Anyone else want to hear NOIS played that slowly?
i actually performed some john cage music this year at school...he has got some really interesting ideas...if you can find out his poem "Me in the middle of the Praries"...its cool
that's something. i especially liked:
"Then in July 2004, two additional Es, an octave apart, were sounded and are scheduled to be released later this year on May 5."
thanx for the link schaggs.
and I thought the concert Phish did on 12-31-99 was really long, coming in at over 10hours in length but this show takes the cake
I did some rough math, and I figure the live DVD set will be 1399410 DVD's long. I know what I'm getting people for Christmas in 2639!
No matter what anybody says, this isn't the longest concert. Go to an Anne Murray concert... THAT would be the longest concert in history.
