i got this book for christmas, and it's fantastic..i can't put it down..the author goes on a road trip, following neils path down to the states, interviewing people along the way that knew neil, and people from winnipeg including members of the weakerthans...i'm about halfway through the book already, and the author is a huge fan of neil..it's a quirky, interesting look at the power of neil young and his music and how it can really effect (or is that affect..) a person...a must read for young fans!!

That looks cool. Opiated, did you read "Shakey" yet? That's a fine read. I've been lazy and haven't finished it yet but the 400 or so pages I've read so far have been very good. I find that it jumps around a little but overall it's great to read about Neil and everyone from Dennis Hopper to Randy Newman.

I'm sure that book you received would be a fun read. What a great road trip that would have been for the author. :thumb:
i'm a huge neil fan, so thanks for that recommendation. i'll definitely check it out, as it sounds very interesting and insightful. i have to get my arse in gear and read "shakey" as well. like kleh, i have read neil & me, though. :thumb:
