I'm absolutely positive that the majority of you have seen Christopher Mills' Macroscopic, and I'm pretty sure a good number of you loved it. Well, for those who have seen it, you know that the imagery and the audio tell two different stories most of the time. That's why sometimes I mute the film when I watch it, and that's why I decided to make a Macroscopic "album". I thought it would be interesting to turn off the lights and listen to it with some headphones, so I ripped the audio from the DVD and burned it to a CD. It was actually quite surprising. The images in my head were completely different from those in the film, and it lead to a much different experience. After listening to it, I decided I could take it farther. I decided to divide it into tracks, since it was basically just a 45-minute lump. Not very listener friendly. While I was seperating it, I realized that I should had to name each track something...

And it went on from there. It quickly evolved into a 26-track "album", art and all. I want to upload it to TheHundredthMeridian.com's wonderful FTP, but I'm concerned with the legality of all this. I mean, since it's my own interpretation and all, I think that if I contact someone in place to give me permission, it'll be fine. Does anyone know if I'm not allowed to do this?

Anyway, I just thought I'd share it with those interested, and I'll happily send it to anyone who wants to give it a listen. But keep in mind that this is a rough cut, and some of the transitions are a bit choppy. The art will probably change, too.
