First exhibition game tonite Canada vs. Russia 10pm on TSN. Unfortunately I wont be awake for most of it, I have to get up at 5:30am.
Hopefully we can beat them and get off to a positive start, and build on it going into the real games.
GO CANADA!!
actually it's the 2nd exhibition game..we won in kelowna last night!!!

it really opened up in the 2nd, it was a great performance by the whole team
pogge looked pretty damn good too!
(btw he only let in 1 goal, not 2 :thumb: )
Take that Finland!!
Great start boys, keep it going!
In case you didnt know Canada beat Finland 5-1.. http://www.tsn.ca/world_jrs/news_story/ ... 1&hubname=
Boyd, Chipchura, Comeau and Bolland looked great, hopefully they can keep it up.
Great game last night, Canada looked terrific. The strong physical play really seemed to take Finland right off their game. and on a side note, I got double reward points today on my esso extra card because Canada won :thumb:
How good do the Americans look?? I mean, I know it was Norway, but an 11-2 drubbing. Five goals for Chris Bourque (great bloodlines there!), and Phil Kessel had five assists. This is definitely the team to beat.
Go Canada!

Watched the US-NOR match today on TSN, yeah a dominant performance to say the least, that Kessel is some skater. I still think Canada can beat them, but it won't be easy, it would make for one hell of a Gold medal game.
can anyone tell me why the games are not on international sized ice??
i know it's in Canada, but i;m pretty sure the tourney 2-3 years ago(also in Canada) was on the big ice.;...i'm stumpped
Can someone please explain to me why Canada is only beating the Swiss 4-2 after 2 periods??? I'm a-scared!
That was one of the laziest games I have seen Team Canada play. The passes were soft, and too much behind the back bull. Oh well we won anyway.
YIPES!!!!!!!!!! That was WAY too close! 4-3 over the Swiss?????? Man, either they looked really good or Canada looked bad, can't decide which.

the reffing was one of the most atrocious things i've ever seen. Pierre McGuires comments on the ref were classic. 21 minor penalties is disgraceful in any hockey game anywhere. I think that had alot to do with how bad Canada looked, considering most of the swiss goals came on the power play.
anyone else notice that Pierre McGuire used the exact same line as last year..... "goes down like free beer at a frat party" ...??
he could at least change it up a bit maybe exchange free beer with sorority girls
Heres hoping that tonights game against Norway goes a little better. I wonder if Sutter got the chance to practice today?? I imagine if today wasn't a game day that team canada would be doing sprints after last night.
