OK, you got me, I'm not serious, but I am definitely pro-Bush/war.

I get frustrated listening to SOME people who think the world will become peaceful if we just stare at it.

Anyways...read my quote in "What makes you smile", you'll see what I'm all about.

Good luck out there everyone, thank God we live in Canada, well most of us.

Mats.
Just for the record...I am proud to be an American, I am not ashamed of my country, I may not agree with everything but I will always back my country!! :thumb:

No offense meant to you Jen...I agree with being proud of your country and backing the decisions that are made.
I truly believe that I am in the safest place on earth...which I am proud of.

Well what if old bush decides that anyone that is not From Texas should be executed.. would you back your 'country' then?

Being proud to be american is awesome. But backing your country just because its your country is wrong. Look back a few years and you'll see that black people in the states were slaves. Countries do make mistakes and when it is done it needs to be brought up so everyone can have the full story and get the problem fixed. Simply 'backing' your country because you are proud to be american isn't good.

So be proud but maybe think about the consequences involved in just backing your country for the sake of backing it..

I couldn't have said it any better. :thumb:
Rob and Mats,
I should have worded it differently...because you're right I don't back up everything we do. But I will not say that I am ashamed of everything that our government stands for. I am a little tired of everyone downing us lately. That said:
I would still like to be Dave Matthews for a day!!! Getting back to the subject that is

I would love to be Noam Chomsky for a day 8) Soooo many interesting things to say
To play golf as good as Mike Weir for a day would be pretty cool.

A few more Noam Chomsky's in the world and it would definitely be a more educated and hopefully less brutal place , but that's up to us .
Here's one.
I would like to be my friend Neil for a day. Twenty years ago, we worked together and then we went our seperate ways. He stayed with what we started and I moved on to do different things.
He now makes 2 million bucks a year and I take in about $75,000.
I would love to know if he is actually 27 times happier than I am, or does he just act like he is.
I have a feeling that no matter how much money you have, you will still never be truly content and you will always want more.
It's all about finding some sort of contentness in your day. It's gotta be.
