I don't know what it is, but I can't get it out of my head. At first I hated the thing, especially Gord's fluctuation... but now I find myself wanting to gnash my teeth together and sing aggressively along with him.
The guitars, especially that nifty whammy bar thing at the end of the rif, is also growing on me.
As somebody once said: Like fine wine.
This always seems to happen with new Hip songs.
I remember on IBE there were certain songs I just didn't care for: NO is Beat, Mean Streak, Nashville...
Now I absolutely love them.
Personally I liked No Threat from the start! It is great :thumb:
I had the same reaction to SIKU and Vaccination Scar when IBE came out. It took a long time for me to dig those tunes. I loved the balance of the album though.

The only songs from the last 3 albums that I instantly liked were Sharks, Stay, The Darkest One, Gus, and Nashville.
Up until IBE, i thought that I would NEVER enjoy ANY of the albums upon my first listen.
I was dead wrong with all of them, of course......

You and I both. Come to think of it, I haven't listened to M@W in quite some time.

But I don't think any number of listens can make me like Coconut Cream.
I'll never understand why Coconut Cream gets hated on so much.
