I was just updating my iPod (it plays music files for those who have never heard of one Tongue ) and I realised that The Tragically Hip have completely taken over my 4gb iPod. It is at capacity with 456 songs, of which 210 are by The Tragically Hip. This translates to 46% of the songs, or 14.8 hours of unique Hip music  .

Does this mean I have an addiction? Do I have to go to meetings?

Anyone else have ridiculous amounts of Hip on their digital devices?
I have a 6GB iPod, and I have 105 Hip songs on it at present. Those 105 songs are pretty much set in stone on my iPod, they are untouchable. Compared to yours its not much, but I have about 600 Cd's here to pull music from so trying to get all the songs I want on it is hard sometimes, so songs have to be dropped unfortunately. I think I'll go for the 20GB pod soon, It would be nice to have the entire Hip library on there plus a bootleg at some point.
My mini contains all the studio albums as well as a healthy rotation of live shows. At one point hip filled every available byte of the 4gigs.

My Creative MP3 Player only has 512MB of memory, but more than once I have completely filled it with only Hip. That's somewhere around 120 songs.

Yes, there is a support group that meets daily to discuss this affliction which we both share. It is filled with members from Canada, the United States, and Europe. We are Hip-lovers without borders (until a debate starts regarding Canadian flags at concerts). We are addicted to the Hip. We are proud of it. We stand united. We are the Hipbase.
I don't have any portable digital devices... ya know, because of soul stealing thing, but here's how my Windows Media Player breaks down:

998 songs in total. 402 unique Hip tracks. 40% of the deal. If you add in the other 37 Gord solo tracks, and 5 "X with" tracks (Gord and Paul with Murray McLaughlin for instance) it's 44%

Sign me up for them meetings.
