I must say - kudos to Chris.
I picked up a shirt, band autographed day planner and CD's from him - all arrived in good order. Great value for the stuff I got. Adds nicely to my modest hip collection. I thank him for letting Hip Basers have a chance at this stuff before it goes to ebay or elsewhere!
Cheers

thehip11 Wrote:Good idea James. Let's say for every auction that is placed on hipbase, Lance would get $2 to keep running hipbase. What do you think Lance?
That sounds like a good idea, I can post the item(s) in http://www.hipbase.com/store/ ? How does that work for you guys? Let them run until they sell?

thehip11 Wrote:All of this has made me think. What if we had our own Hipbase Ebay. Hip fans could post hip related things for sale for 1 week auctions and those interested could place bids. There could be a separate section on the main hipbase page to search through items for sale and the winner after the auction ends get the item. How does this sound? That's what the software I used to build this site: http://memorabilia.hipfans.com is supposed to be used for. I just turned off the buy/sell fields.
It can be tweaked for sales if necessary.

I must see a picture of this, it sounds like the coolest shirt ever.

I wish I could give you a picture but I don't have a way of taking one. It's a very cool shirt. The back is all writing and looks exactly like what a disctionary would look like. The words the, tragically, and hip are all in yellow and the writing for the explanations is in white.

I've got the pics ready to post, but when I try I get the following message:
"Sorry but the maximum filesize for all Attachments is reached. Please contact the Board Administrator if you have questions"
Lance, are you able to fix this?

Lance, the pics aren't bigger than 25kb and max 600x400 pixels, but I'll see what I can do.
