i got this game on friday. holy hell is it ever hard. the putting is killing me. i have played probably 30 rounds and i am just not starting to get the hang of it.
anyone else play it yet?
is the game worth buying?
i've got 2005 and am not sure if i really need to upgrade, i know they changed a whole bunch, but other than the addition of mike weir, i'm not all that interested.....
right now, i prefer 2005. i would rent it before you buy it
I'm still living with TW 2003... and was prepared to go out and buy 2006. But if 2005 will suffice, I'll save the $40 and get '05.

05 is 1000000 times better than 03.
I find 05 for XBOX a bit too easy, I am shooting in the 50's half the time.

Its about time, that was always my biggest gripe about the Tiger games, waaaaay to easy. That and the PGA Tour mode is crap, no playing partners and no live updates, the 360 is going to make it all better though. The dual-analog swing is a nice change. I still wish someone besides EA would make a good golf sim type game, when it comes to golf I dont really care who is in the game, I just want it to be as real as possible, with lots of courses to play. Hot Shots Golf (3 and Fore!) is a very addictive and fun alternative for all the Playstation2 owners out there. I spent countless hours playing those two. :thumb:
