November 1st is shaping up to be a magnificent day for new music purchases, and it's gonna put one hell of a dent in my bank account. Hipeponymous and a double-live Wilco album on the same day? Damn!

This is kind of disappointing news in that originally it was also going to be a Hipeponymous-type of package (i.e. DVD/CD combo). And with all of the soundboard recordings of the AGIB tour circulating there are dozens of versions of these songs available. That being said, I'm still looking forward to it. It's gonna be an expensive day!
I held off buying this upon the release because I thought it'd end up under the tree what with all the hype I was giving it around the house. No show Christmas day and today was my first steps back into the world of commerce since Dec. 1 or so, so today was the big day. Finally picked it up.
And I'm blown away. Probably the best "Live cd" I've ever heard.
Wilco has been climbing the ladder of my favorite bands list for awhile now and this cd is just adding to the case. Brilliant from start to finish, great music through and through.
I'm sure there were other great songs that should have made the cut from the 3 night stand, but these songs put together are fanfuckingtastic!!
