Having trouble with some first-year chemistry stuff. Any help with these two questions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks all!

1. An ore contains 37.1% of the mineral anglesite, PbSO4, which is a source of the element Pb. How much ore must be processed in order to obtain 49.0kg of Pb?

2. Suppose you make a solution that contains 11.09 g of sodium chloride and 573 g of water.
a) What is the mass % of sodium chloride
b) If 19.50 mL of your solutions weighs 19.728 g, what is the density (in g/cc).

**I'm not even a science major, but to fulfill my requirements, the university stuck me in this class. I'm trying to get out, but have to do this first assignment just in the rare case that I can't find another science for non-science majors class to fulfill my requirements
I dont have a periodic table with me so i will skip #1

I will take a stab at number 2 though...

2. Suppose you make a solution that contains 11.09 g of sodium chloride and 573 g of water.
a) What is the mass % of sodium chloride
b) If 19.50 mL of your solutions weighs 19.728 g, what is the density (in g/cc).

a) it would seem to me that you are combining the masses of the NaCl and H20 according to the law of conservation of mass...

11.09 g + 573 g = 584.09 g

the NaCl is 11.09 g out of the total 584.09 g which would be 1.90% of the mass of the solution

b) as you probably know, a cc is equal to a mL. your solution has a mass of 19.728 g per 19.50 cc of water (19.728g/19.50cc) which equals 1.01g/cc

of course this could be completely wrong.
