I'm not a Pats fan in any way, but Brady impresses me more every game. I don't understand how he is still portrayed as an average QB? It was a good first half, I woke up on the couch and it was still the 4th qtr..

Trust me, Brady isn't portrayed as an average QB. Most football insiders I've read have him and Manning as the two best. All Brady has to do is have two or three more good years and he's a lock for the HOF. Heck, he might even be close to a lock right now. He could have a few good years without making the playoffs and still be a HOF quarterback. I've heard him compared to Montana many times so he certainly isn't considered average. Brady is a brilliant QB. He's a winner. Culpepper, Mcnabb, Manning maybe put up better numbers but Brady is a winner. Maybe you could say Manning is as good as Brady but until he wins the big one, it's all speculation. I'm a Bills fan so I'm supposed to despise the Pats and Brady but I just can't. What the Pats have accomplished is just too great not to appreciate.
BTW, I enjoyed seeing the Stones perform two songs in the pregame show in Detroit. Also, I thought Ozzy sucked and it's time for him to quit for good. "Crazy Train" sounded horrible IMO and when they said "SPECIAL SURPRISE", I was expecting someone who could actually sing. I also thought Michelle Branch was lyp-synching for what it's worth.
I guess I could clarify by saying that he is indeed thought of as average in "fantasy terms". He ranks 10th in most QB polls. I know...I know...fantasy ranking don't mean diddly when it comes to w's and l's...
and Ozzy was lip synching when the singing was taking place and screaming in an entirely different octave when he was playing the crowd...pretty sketchy for sure.

And the defence is looking pretty damn decent again too. All the naysayers said the loss of Crenel, Law, Johnston, Bruschi, etc. would be their downfall this year, but I didn't see anything to worry about.
Sure Randy Moss had a 73 yd touchdown reception, but he is the "Freak" afterall!
