Anyone know if Strippers Union will play more than the three shows already annoucned?
I sure hope so, as much as I'd like to see them, I'm sure as hell not flying to Vancouver.

It's about a bear that got too close to some people at an outdoor concert (he was up in a tree, obviously attracted to the smell of food) so the police had to shoot him. He ended up drowning in the lake while The Jeff Healey Band played.
I'm from the north, I've seen a bear shot in my neighbour's yard - I'm not all that squeamish really. And yet... I can't listen to this song.
But, other than that - it's a great CD. The lyrics aren't up to Downie standards (sorry to the Craig Northey fans) but musically it's very strong. When you hear the Rob Baker is recording songs that didn't make the Hip's CDs, I think the immediate reaction is to think that they weren't good enough to make the Hip's CDs. But these songs are all great.
