What did you all think of these..
I caught the Atlanta show, and I have my own opinon..
I just dl'd the show and, well..
Kate is a goddess. End of discussion.
I thought they were absolutely incredible. I have the Fillmore show from SF, and it was amazing. Her vocals on Thugs and Scared were incredible, it just brought a whole new dimension to the songs, and boy can she ever sing.
I've never heard of her, except that she toured with Ani Difranco once.
I was front row in Calgary and WOW did she ever add to the music.
She did a great job, She can sing with the Hip anytime she wants
I agree, she was a great addition. I saw the Dec. 3 show of that tour at the ACC. Her duet on Flamenco was amazing. Definitely welcomed again by me :thumb:
I think I saw them at the Hamilton and Toronto shows that year..Im not sure, but I did like kate. Her verses in Flamenco rocked, she can really, really sing!

i'll agree will and lofty, Flamenco was quite impressive
I was blowing her kisses from the "rob section" at the muchmusic gig.
Saw her at Massey.
Flamenco was amazing, I wasn't into MAW at the time to have really appreciated the setlist.
After listening to the Dec 3 and 23 shows again, I'd welcome Chris and Kate back to tour. They added a pretty neat aspect to the tunes. That and Kate was always really easy on the eyes
Cheers
Pat
I had the opportunity to take a couple photos with her at the Minnesota shows from July 7-9, 2000, and she was very gracious. I also chatted with her backstage at the Brandon 11/28/00 show, and she remembered me from the previous summer. A talented beauty, for sure...

This is a good DVD, whomever is recording this is obviously smitten by her..
I just like my Hip straight up..and in a short glass
Super nice chick.
In New York City 2002 - the first Irving Plaza show we were right by the soundboard - and I look behind me and it was Kate. We talked for awhile and she rocked out for the entire show with us. Pretty cool.
Before I told my wife that she was there behind us, I had to make her promise to be nice - she did not like Kate at all touring with The Hip in 2000, but she enjoyed the show rocking with her that night.
