been raining here for 3 days and the basement flooded for the 2nd time in 3 yrs...got lucky with insurance last time, highly doubt it this time Sad
Sorry to hear that, It's tough..it's not your fault yet you have to pay for it..

just a note..the topic is rather confusing lol. "bloody rain"
We got it pretty good here in the Battlefords too. Sure am glad I took the next two weeks off to go farming. It better smarten up right quick.
ended up with over a foot of water in the basement....sewer started backing up, so we might get insurance now at least
I'm about sick of the rain as well. No water in the basement thankfully but I've got my underground sprinkler system halfway done and I've only got tonight to get it fully wrapped up before I'm off on holidays.

Looks like I'll be playing in the mud outside after work. Super. Hopefully another few hours of sun on the mud will help dry it out a bit. These damn holidays are going to be well earned I tell ya.
we have ahd maybe 4 days where it rained (a quick storm passing) in the last 3 months...we could use some over here 8)
Been going on worse in Europe, with massive flooding in Switzerland, Germany amongst others. About 20+ have died so far.

And here in England people complain if the roads get a bit flooded.
Took me nearly 30 minutes to do a 6 minute blue light run for a woman who was about to pop her 5th(!!) baby thanks to flooded underpasses and backed up traffic.
My quick 'legs together, breathe deep and RUN' speech did the trick though :-)

D
so we had an insurance adjustor in today and learned that the damages are covered and they are even waiving the $500 deductible because we had the presence of mind to move all the furniture & electronics to higher ground...shitty thing is we are looking at 6 months before we can get a contactor in as there were numerous floods in the city
