Is Stevens even gonna play? Last I heard he was still suffering from his own concussion. And the NHLPA site shows him as being unsigned.
True, I think is also a free agent, maybe the Leafs will sign him? Why not, they seem to like signing old guys.
Old guys?
O'Neill: 29
Allison: 30
Lindros: 32
Khavanov: 33

I am speaking more of the 2003 season.
28 Tie Domi RW 5-10 213 11/1/69
2 Brian Leetch D 6-0 185 3/3/68
25 Joe Nieuwendyk C 6-2 205 9/10/66
7 Gary Roberts LW 6-2 215 5/23/66
20 Ed Belfour G 5-11 202 4/21/65
Gotta love the "new NHL", where Eric Lindros makes only marginally more than Tie Domi...
Regardless, it was a no-brainer for JFJ...if Lindros plays 50 games it will be money well spent...

... yes, and it's all coming together for next year too. Now we just wait for the Summer 06 off season and sign Thornton and ... oops. Somebody forgot to give Thornton the press release about his inevitable signing as a Maple Leaf. Ah well, at least Hossa and Chara know about the edict. Right?
... I like the Lindros signing, though. Gotta say it. He had to become a Leaf at some point, so let's give 'em whirl for a mil.point.five. and see what he's got left. I like it.
Eric Lindros makes slightly more than Aki "Shitpants" Berg. My eyes went blurry writing that.

Dude, despite all of your Steve Simmons-esque whining, I'll hold your seat on the bandwagon.
I like the signing... Lindros comes at the right price, and should be very motivated. As long as he keeps his head up (and avoids getting knocked silly), he could prove to be a very nice pickup for the Leafs.
BTW, that Aki "Shitpants" Berg crack was classic... I might start using that myself.
when healthy...as good as anyone still. If you watched a lot of Ranger games...it's evident. I think he gets a bad rap...he'll help out the young guys a tremendous amount...always willing to offer advice and tips to them. Say what you want about him, but he's a warrior and will be huge here.
Question, is there a player around that generates more opinion or stories than him??? Always has, love him or hate hime, people can't stop talking about him...for that alone, it's nothing but good for the game
I LOVE this move. If he plays 40 games the Leafs got their money's worth.
