another thread, but seems worthy of its own.
It seems that a few long term, regular post'ers have disappeared from Hipbase lately without any sort of public send off. Does anyone have an update on any of the following Hipbaser's? They might be around, and perhaps I'm confused, but just in case:
Grooveless
Jen
Lord Brazle
Kari
Dyersbay
Sabina
The Dutchies Storm & Beat
Am I missing anyone else?
Hrmmm. I'm curious too. I've talked to Grooveless and Jen on occassion, mostly when still up at school since I have messenger up 24/7, but of for the rest of the aforementioned crew, I'm at a loss. I'm starting to feel like a dinosaur with all these nutty "new" kids on the board.

Yeah, they just sort of up and disappeared...When I first joined the board (Way back in June '04) Brazle was the last word on everything, and then I remember he was sort of not around for a while, came back briefly, and now gone again...
or maybe brazle and grooveless reincarnated themselves as ddd444 and mav... (and thats my 'straight outta the ass' rumour of the day)

And my guess with Lord Brazle is - that after a late night of, um "relaxing" he mistakenly took his axe and chopped the computer in half by mistake.
This is what Lord Brazle had to say last month:
"I've been resurrected...
I moved down here to Haliburton Lake and had to endure two months without internet (the closest thing I had to technology was a chainsaw) and I've been playing lumberjack and stuff, clearing some property. I'm officially an expert at weilding an axe, too... and, of course, a little more stream-lined than I was before.... lol..."
I think with the Hip scene somewhat quiet lately some people don't visit or post to the board as often when the guys are not touring and there's lots of chatter about the "new" album.
I love the Hip but I understand why some may take a break from talking about it or visiting the site. Nothing to be alarmed about I'm sure. Next album and tour they'll be back.

Good point, but I thought with the news of Hipeponymous it would've stirred a passing comment from at least a few of 'em.

I'm still alive. Been superbusy working as a butcher all summer. Almost done though and switching jobs soon so I'll be back and twice as ugly! I have seriously seen enough blood for ten lifetimes... now I know why all them Nam vets had shellshock and shit. lol.
There are so many friggin new threads since the last time I was here, so be patient ya'll and after I'm done readin all the news, I'll be back in the saddle and pissin everyone off again...

Welcome back LB!! Good to hear from you again. As for the bulls**t, it seems to have subsided as of late, we haven't had many fights and problems like before. Just the odd troll pops up here and there, and TDC seems to be maturing, so all seems well at the moment.
