On a psych test I took last week (for a job... they haven't found my necklace of thumbs just yet) one of the sections was "record the first thing that comes to mind."

One of the headers was "The Beautiful Song"

So, what's the first thing that comes to mind?

It was ABAC for me... after the usual dirty thoughts of course.
a beautiful thing
Long Time Running ....and then I thought of Stay next.
Does anyone else remember a boot from the Henhouse tour during which Gord called Flamenco "The most beautiful song we know"?
That's from the Fox Theatre show, I think... or maybe one of the 9:30 Club shows that tour.

"We have in the radio business what they call dead air..."

He may have said it elsewhere as well, but he made that comment at the Toledo Zoo Amphitheater...then challenged to hooligans who were throwing things to hit him while he stood absolutely motionless and sang the song. He was unscathed.

It's probably because it's one of the songs my fiancee and I both love, but Long Time Running came to mind right away. It's a very slow, poignant, sexy song.

I was at a show in boston when he said that, don't know if there is a boot of it.
Lake Fever.
First thing I thought of was "the beautiful lull"....
Maybe I'm not good at lateral thinking, but I thought of A Beautiful Thing.

Re Flamenco at the Toldeo Zoo. I was there and remember that moment distinctly. Gord was pretty pissed off. But what a show.

Bobcaygeon.

Just fits my girl friend and I. She's the kind of girl that would welcome a cop home from dealingwith white supremicists.
