The ERSB has revised the rating of GTA san andreas for all platforms and given it an AO (adults only) rating. Many retailers will not carry AO games and therefore the game is being recalled. A new version without the sex acts will be availble in the 4th quarter.
It all started because Rockstar left in some broken and hidden code which contains your character having sex with women in different postions. The mod for the PC version was called "Hot coffee mod". It then was discovered that with the use of an Action replay device , you could expose the same sex minigames in Ps2 and xbox as well.

it makes me laugh that the sex is what offends people....i for one love the game, but if i had kids wouldn't let them anywhere near it...
They are going to sell so many copies of that game, with or with out sex in it.

exactly..i'm sick of hearing about how video games are still just for kids..it's an adult game....know how to PARENT....

The ps2 ver. will take a little more work.

Search the net for a utility called "Hot Coffee" with GTA as part of the search string and you should find what you're looking for. I saw it as a link or topic on a gaming website I frequent.
For the record I do not own the game and never will. GTA and games like GTA are an insult to human intelligence. Glorifying and promoting theft, violence against police and sexual assault of women just disgusts me.
The new Adult Only rating won't really matter unless it's enforced by law and not by each store's policy. Parents need to be more aware of what their kids are playing on their computers or doing in general.

A game that depicts and glorifies REAL violence against law enforcement, women and society. No thanks. Why in the hell do you think they recalled it and made it Adult Only? Give me a break. :roll:
War games (that I play anyways CoD, MoH, BiA) DO NOT glorify war. They depict the hell in which brave unselfish men and women endured in our history to preserve peace and stop those who wish to dominate societies and countries. Hardly a comparison. GTA is just shock value, needless violence that serves NO purpose.
I personally quite enjoy video games and violent ones at that (Doom1,2,3 etc). But games like GTA are useless and serve no purpose other than degrade and insult human intelligence.

pretty cheesy if you ask me, and apparently for the amount of time it takes to unlock the "hot coffee" why not just go search for porn on the internet and save yourself the hassle
