Well, I've got to give you this, skip... I had no idea that you served in the forces and then worked in the defense industry. I'm not sure if you mentioned this on your blog before today... if you did then I guess I probably forgot about it. Most left-wingers, I would guess, wouldn't go anywhere near that kind of life... but again that's just my opinion.
Anyway, it looks like you suckered me in and ambushed me to make me look like an idiot (which I could say you seem bound and determined to do... but I won't) by debating me on an issue where you have intimate knowledge of the subject, whereas you know that I likely don't, yet you hide the fact that you have intimate knowledge of the subject until it suits your purposes to divulge that information. So congratulations on that... and hey, that's your right to do so and I respect that.
I also think that you are promoting a "chickenhawk" ad hominem argument against me (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chickenhawk_%28politics%29, for the benefit of others who aren't sure what I mean)... which is kind of ironic given your frequent denouncements of ad hominem arguments. But again, that's your right and I respect that. Although you probably don't think you are promoting such an argument against me... which leads me into my next paragraph.
I do honestly and sincerely respect you for serving in the Armed Forces, because it's not something I feel I could ever do... I don't think I'm cut out for that kind of life (plus I'd have to do some serious working out for a while to get my rear end into shape if I ever did want to serve). So... there's your answer. Happy now?
