I just read Chris's post over in the Stripper's Union thread and I figure that this is as good a time as any to introduce myself . . . since the cat's out of the bag and all . . .

Hi, MAv. here, Chris, you probably know me from the HDRC site. . . well, I'm working with the HIP now too!

Been on this board over a year now under a different name, but this is my "work" alias, so I am coming out, as it were and introducing myself.

Obviously, the band knows about Hipbase and i have brought it up with them a number of times and now I am here publiclly, so I just wanted to say

I'm in the midst of overhauling the hip site. Planning a bunch of cool things and in general, gearing up for this new gig as it were.

There's a bunch of stuff I can tell you about, a bunch that I don't want to tell you about and obviously stuff that I can't tell you about.


1. there is a new site happening and it will be rolled out in stages
2. the new site will be focused on content
3. Part of what I will be doing, is to make the band more accessible, in a variety of ways . . .
4. I have been given unparalled access to the band and individual members - read great, original content
5. The band is really excited to change things up and they're really into it, so get excited cause there are lots of things coming down the pipe
6. I have seen parts of the dvd and it ROCKS!!! (saw the ACC show when it ws being filmed too)
7. I have been at the Bath House for some of their weekly sessions this spring, and I brought my cameras (video and digital) and have stuff that is way too cool to describe . . . including some new songs they are working on . . .
8. the guys are all REALLY nice, not sure how else to put it
9. I will try and get answers to as many questions as I can and try and throw out as many surprises as I can and try to improve the online hip experience as much as I can
10. Hopefully, this will be obvious to you all, but this will not be my forum for expression, but I do come here regularly . . .

So, my introductory gift is a couple of misc. shots that I took from one of the spring bath sessions I attended . . .

oh yea, we're having a contest soon so stay tuned !!!!

we look forward to some serious "peeking in" while the new album is in progress.... video clips, pics and stories about how things are forming along the way would be cool access that we haven't seen before....
