I've never been one to decipher the demented ramblings of the Pumpkin King...BUT...

"I want my band back, and my songs (back)..."-Billy Corgan.

He was my first rock hero. Now he just comes off as whiny and arrogant. It's sad. The man can write songs, but I mean nobody wants to be a part of 'his band'...He has to stop coming across as so selfish, it's irritating and disheartening.
I like Billy Corgan and all, but man, does he ever love himself. That being said, I'll lap up and new Pumpkins material.
Has anyone purchased/listened to his new solo album?

sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet.

I've been listening to The Future Embrace a lot lately, and i think it's a fucking masterpiece, BUT, i'd still rather have my beloved Pumpkins back, it'd kick so much ass to get to see them again live...i need to hear Everlasting Gaze and the heavy version of Ava Adore!

Oh yeah, I need to hear that version of "Adore" as well. My buddy and I tried, and failed, to get tickets to the 11/29/00 Chicago show, and whenever I listen to the warp speed "Cherub Rock" packaged with the vicious metal "Adore" I get goosepimples. I would also do bad things to loved ones in order to hear "For Martha" live, but for now I would just settle with seeing the band again...man, this has me excited, haven't turned MCIS off all day!

For Martha is my new favorite pumpkins song....but the all time greatest pumpkins tune has to be Starla.
