CJOH NEWS reported last night that the STONES definately won't be playing but they said it would be in Toronto. But speaking of Parliament Hill as a venue, it is beyound me why in all the years gone by that the HIP have never played on Parliament Hill on Canada Day.
the show is now in barrie

Because it is Canada day, and all different types of people go to ottawa on Canada day, they have to try and get acts that appeal to all sorts of people or from what I notice, appeal to nobody, that seems to work. The Hip don't have a wide enough audience to play capital hill. You would end up with way to many rowdies doing really stupid things on the steps of parliament
Just as well because I couldn't get the time off anyway. I'd love to be there! ENJOY!
