Hey all,
I have a quick question. I arrive in Vancouver on August 10th and I was checking out Bruce Springsteen's site when I saw that he's going to be performing in Vancouver on the 13th - i wanna go! Its being held at the Pontiac Theatre at GM place. I tried searching for a website of that place but can't seem to find one. I looked on ticketmaster.ca for tickets but the concert is not even listed there.
How can I get tickets (or find out whether its sold out..)?
Hopefully someone can help me out.
Thanks! :thumb:

These dates were just released yesterday, as far as I know, and as of right now only about four of them are up on Ticketmaster. The shows that are currently listed are going on sale either this Saturday or next Saturday, so you can be pretty much assured they'll be updating in the next day or so.

And btw, Springsteen is in Toronto on July 14...and I'm going to be in Thunder Bay for my friend's wedding. Ditching Christie for Springsteen? Feels like it would be the wrong, wrong call... Tongue

Awesome, your message put a big smile on my face. If I could get tickets that would make my day. Bruce is actually going to be in town here in 4 days but the show was sold out in no time.

Oh and if you know what's right for you, I wouldn't bail on the wedding - believe me, women don't forgive easily and they definitely don't forget these things.

Nah, I would never bail on my best friend's wedding--not even for the chance to see one of my top three favourite artists doing a solo acoustic show ten minutes from my house. Actually, I should probably stop saying that... :rambo:

He's coming here to Milwaukee as well, from what the paper says he is doing a strictly acoustic performance. The interesting thing is he is gravatating towards larger venues but they are putting up curtains and screens to cut the capacity down to a mid sized venue. The Bradley Center here has a 20,000 capacity and the capacity for the show is going to be around 7,000. I wish i had the money; I'd take the girlfriend with to check this out! :thumb:
Awesome, sounds like his concert would be a great time but I just checked ticketmaster.ca and the Toronto show is up - prices are CA $90.00 - CA $110.00 though. Is it just me or is that pretty expensive? Is there a special reason these prices are so high? Confusedcratch:
The Vancouver show is now up on ticketmaster - on sale July 11, HOB presale July 7.

That's how much Springsteen usually costs--on The Rising tour, ACC tickets were $115 each before service charges, and when he returned to the SkyDome later in the tour the best seats (i.e., anything below the 500 level) were $99 each. I paid gladly, of course, 'cause Springsteen = God in my books, but you're right--it's steep. Have you ever heard his boots from the Tom Joad tour? If you get a chance, give 'em a listen--they'll give you a good idea of what Bruce is doing with the D&D tour.

I went to his concert during The Rising tour over here and we paid far less than that but then again they weren't very good seats at all. I'll just shut up and cough up the cash..it should be a great show. I'll check out those boots you mentioned too, thanks for the heads up. :thumb:

Yep I saw - thanks!
His shows are getting some great fan reviews over at his website. I hope I can score some tix.
If anyone gets the Vancouver Presale, I'd appreciate it...I have a friend dying to go and willing to fly to Van just for the show...I'm not sure if my HOB membership will give me Vancouver dates
Got 3rd row on the floor!!! Woohoo!!
