this is a great album

I'd trade you for the weezer cd I bought recently but I've already got the White Stripes cd. The new cd's great though, certainly wouldn't give it up after one listen.

I have to agree. "Get Behind Me Satan" is the first new CD I've bought on its release day since IBE. Come to think of it, it's the only new CD I've bought since IBE! I highly recommend it to everyone.

yeah, just picked up the album and I am really digging it. Especially "instinct Blues". Pretty eclectic and different album. It's refreshing when stacked against most of the stuff on the radio at work. :thumb:

Im really liking it as well, Im a big White Stripes fan to begin with. I like "denial twist" thats a cool tune. :thumb:

I am enjoying this album as well. It is very unique and refreshing. I can see how some people don't like it because it is quite different compared to anything out there right now. I also find it gets better with every listen. So I say give the album a chance, you might be pleasantly surprised.

actually, i gave it a second chance...its pretty good. I think i wasnt in the mood for it when i first popped it in...was stitting in bumper to bumper traffic on the 401

not a bumper to bumper cd, except "My Doorbell" does put a pretty damn big smile on my face!!

Just picked this album up today and I love it. I liked almost every song on the first listen. In my opinion this is there best album yet, definately a change of pace. My Doorbell, Take Take Take, White Moon, As Ugly as I Seem and the Zeppelinesque Red Rain are my personal faves. I really like the heavy use of piano on this album. 5 out of 5 stars from me.

They're doing three shows at the Masonic Temple at the end of September. I'm only going to one but I can't wait. They put on a helluva show. If you have a chance to catch 'em, do it!
