I went to a housewarming party yesterday, and started in on the beers around 2pm. Continued that for the next 10 hours, forgot about lunch/dinner, and now I feel like crap. So friends, I need you help. What do you do to get rid of a blazing hangover?

I need something special this morning, as this is the worst I think I've ever felt.
 Ive been there before, sucks dont it? If your looking to go a more scientific way try this out : http://www.soyouwanna.com/site/syws/han ... over5.html

or you can try your luck here: http://www.hungover.net/

either way I think the only cure is time and re-hydration.

An extra strength Advil, a Dramamine ("imported" from the USA), and an ice cold Steamwistle will more than likely help.

From past experience, there are two solid ways to get yourself back in the game. One involves your favourite guy or favourite girl -- the other (and often easier one) is to keep drinking.

Either keep drinking booze or start drinking Gatorade. In future, try mixing yourself a water bottle full of Gatorade before you start drinking, 'cause that way, when you stumble home after last call and can't remember your own phone number, at least you won't have to worry about working off yer hangover. I perscribe 2 "Ultra Strength Motrin (400mg tablets) and an ice cold Alexander Keiths.
Good luck..
Thanks for the ideas guys. I've been feeling so terrible, that I don't think that I could get a pill to stay down, or even smell beer without puking it up.

And Pat, my friend Lisa is on her way over and I'll try to persuade her to help me out... :thumb:
I use the chancellor/beanmedic method and it never fails.

Just before bed:
1. Pound back as much water as you can drink
2. A few Vitamin B12 tabs. They are water soluble, so when you are drunk, taking too many won't kill you. In fact it won't do anything.

Morning:
1. Gatorade - All day. Never stop drinking it. If you don't have it - Water.
2. Some more Vit B12
3. Muffin.
4. Shower.

In your case, just follow step 2.
Hangovers are caused by two things.... dehydration, and the loss of electrolytes, sodium, potassium, etc.

Thus a sure-fire hangover cure is water or gatorade in copious amounts,
something quite salty (i.e. potato chips) and a banana.

then give it at most 90 minutes and you'll feel like you never drank the night before...
"I feel sorry for people who don't drink. When they wake up in the morning, that's as good as they're going to feel all day."
-Frank Sinatra
Well it's now 6:38pm and I almost feel OK. I downed a couple gallons of water, a few Gatorades, had a beer on a patio with Pat (aka hotmetal401), took some vitamins, ate some chocolate cake, had a pizza, and drank two 7-Up's.

Time for sleep.

Thanks everyone!
Wow... you went from not being able to hold down anything to drinking beer and eating pizza and cake! Sounds like your friend Lisa really did the trick! :thumb:

OK, it's now 12:29pm on Monday, and my headache is back. I've got to shake this feeling as I am heading to a buddies cottage for a guys weekend, and hangovers are not on the agenda.

I to am heading to a buddies cottage to this weekend, but I was good this weekend, well saturday at least. I rode the ride for heart yesterday so I had to take it easy this saturday night, no drinking at all.
