Just got back from a week of hiking/camping with my dog Augustine (siberian husky) along the ice age trail in central wisconsin.

I know a few of you on this site are from there, and I just wanted to tell you what a terrific state you have. All you boys and girls from the CA take note! If you want to check out a kickass US state for an outdoor vacation, check out wisconsin!

I'm so moving there after next year!

I highly recommend Devil's Lake State Park near Baraboo and the Bong Recreational Park in Burlington, both are near the city of Milwaukee. You should also check out Terry Andrae State Beach Park up in Sheyboygan...simply awesome overnight camping on the beach! Nice place to take the missus
