Anybody as excited as me for the upcoming pearl jam tour!! Me and my buddy that Im going with, we cant stop talking about it. Lately we've been debating about what songs we'd like to hear the most. So I thought of a wishlist of songs Id most like to hear. I assume they will be heavy on the new material, and I havent seen pj before, anyone think a 20 song set would be pre-sumptious? I heard they are going with two setlists for the Canadian tour, anyone hear otherwise? With the exception of at least half a dozen new songs, here's what songs Id like to hear most..
go
low light
rearviewmirror
ghost
thin air
state of love and trust
in hiding
save you
jeremy
ghost
brain of j
nothingman
hail, hail
insignificant
immortality
whipping
..yeah thats alot to ask, but Id be happy to hear just half those songs, man I cant wait!! :jump :jump
what songs are you hoping to hear the most?
The sing along songs were pretty cool in Fargo. Betterman and Daughter and such. I really want to hear Faithful. Here's hoping the Arcade Fire open. My cousin just got back from the Sasquatch festival in Washington and said they stole the show.
Faithful would be sweet!! So many songs...
It's simple for me, really: if I hear "Hard to Imagine" I'll retire from active concertgoing. I've heard absolutely every Pearl Jam song I could ever imagine hearing live...but if I hear that one (still haven't), I'll probably erupt from massive pleasure overload. Stone, if you're reading this, "Hard to Imagine" in Thunder Bay, Kitchener, London, Hamilton, Montreal, Ottawa or Toronto please! Thanks!
Steve
I should elaborate on that: "Long Road" to open, "In Hiding" somewhere near the top of the set, a double shot of "Even Flow" and "Corduroy", "Black" and "Alive" to close the set, "Sleight of Hand" to open the first encore, "Tremor Christ" thrown in there for good measure (still haven't heard it live), "People Have the Power" to close the second encore, and then the "Baba" / "Ledbetter" third encore a la Buffalo '03...and "Hard to Imagine". Something like that.

Their sing along in Toronto with that "Who" tune sounds really great on the bootleg I've got. Are they dealing with ticketmaster on this tour?

Unfortunately yes, unless you were a 10Club member and got them early, like me

As far as I know the shows in Ontario are all sold out, tickets went like lightening, boom!

Most of the tour is sold out...or, well, sold out with the exception of seats behind the stage. As of right now only Saskatoon, Montreal, Ottawa and Quebec have decent seats left. In Ontario, Kitchener and London are completely sold out, while Hamilton, Toronto and (surprisingly, given the size of the venue) Thunder Bay have rear view seats left.

They're playing Thunder Bay? Gord was right, Pearl Jam are the Pearl Jam of Canada.

I guess I'm just not that big of a fan if I only know 2 of the songs on this list of 20....Pearl Jam has always been one of those bands where I recognized the tune, but just never bothered to learn the name...
Goulet!!!

Even crazier is the fact that they're playing Saskatoon, Kitchener, and St. John's. I say we make them honorary Canadians as soon as they get across the border. Isn't there some sort of certificate we can give 'em??
I want to hear Untilted/MFC after that
Love boat captain
Faithful
In My Tree
Hail, Hail
Long Road
Light Years
RVM
State of love and Trust
Do the Evoulution
Brain of J
Crazy Mary

Yes there is...we can give them each a Beaver Tail with their name in vanilla icing, a subscription to "The Hockey News" and a 2 for 1 coupon on skate sharpening at the Skater's Edge.
Goulet!!!
I was just over on http://www.pearljam.com/ and they are adding a second show to St. John's NF, the Canada shows sold out in minutes it said!! :thumb:
I got tickets through an ACC contact.
