This "we will never accept a salary cap........ ummm, OK, we'll accept a salary cap but we'll take months and months and months to agree on the cap ceiling and floor" approach is working brilliantly! :thumb:
Man, this is just getting worse and worse for the NHLPA. The longer they hold out, the more money they'll continue to lose. I believe a deal will definitely get done this summer, but once it's all over I have a feeling that Goodenow is gonna be dragged out into the street and shot. If I was a player I'd be absolutely furious with my so-called leadership right now. I'm actually starting to feel a bit sorry for certain players, particularly the guys who don't get paid a gazillion dollars.

And it will take time to go back to normal here, too. The Leafs will continue to sell out but I think the other teams will have trouble filling the buildings. Does TSN have a deal for the coming season?
i think the oilers will be ok, apparently they have over 20 million dollars being held for season tickets with next to nobody asking for a refund and they are actually paying the fans 7% interest on all money held
