If you have the chance this weekend...GO to Massey Hall! Incredibly moving show. Can't say enough about it, so that's all I'll say.
Paul Langlois was there too
Love Gordo. Saw him back in 97 in chicago. 2k person venue. Gordo was taking requests from the audience. Unreal.
SO nice to hear he's playing again. How does he look? Health?
Saw him live at the Peterborough Festival of Lights, August 2000
Free concert. His very first piano teacher was there to present him with the very piece of music he learned. She had kept it in her piano bench all the years.

that is so cool . . .
He looked thin, but sturdy if that makes sense. His voice is a little softer, but very rich and sweet. He played close to 30 songs and made it through Canadian Railroad Trilogy beautifully. Got a 2 minute standing ovation before he played a single note...a real outpouring of love. One of those magical nights I'll never forget and was lucky to be a part of. He said Massey Hall is the center of his universe and this was his return...and his home!!! Took some requests too.
True Canadian Legend.
Thanks for sharing

I'm glad Paul took a night off from all that ass-kicking...

Hey, Paul can watch Ligthfoot and still have time for kicking ass. He's very good at multi-tasking.
