They lost 3-0. Im sure the refs didnt prevent canada from scoring.

it's pretty hard to score shorthanded...btw, what medal did the USA bring home? oh wait, they didn't win a medal, in fact, they didn't even compete for one.

Speaking as a referee, I agree with Mike.

Silver's better than a lot of other countries did. Good on the boys for doing us proud again. We'll get 'em next time.

all i'm saying is that i don't think that the refs called a very good game, they were intimidated by the overwhelmingly Czech majority crowd, and it hurt our chances of winning.

Ah, I don't think the ref had much to do with this one... for the standard of international officiating we're used to, this guy actually wasn't bad.

In my opinion, the Czechs' tactics produce ugly, boring hockey, and so it was with the final. But they are effective, and they executed their game plan better than Canada did. Canada didn't play well enough to win, and that's why we have silver instead of another gold. Oh well, get 'em next time boys!

The ref's always stink at these tournaments so thats nothing new, I think if we had a full-strength squad I think we'd be toasting the gold medal right now. Not that our team stunk, but the defence was sub-par through the tournament and we missed our veteran snipers like St. Louis, Sakic, Iginla..you get the idea. Next time we'll crush em!

Once again, you might be one of a handfull of people who actually knew this tournament was going on. Do I care about this tournament? NO! I care about the Olympics and the NHL. Thats all.

then you suck, because this was a great tournament (aside from Canada losing today), the world Juniours is always a great tournament, the CHL playoffs are great, and even the AHL playoffs are pretty good too...i guess what you're trying to say is that you just like to bandwagon during the Olympics, and cheer for your lousy Sabres during the NHL regular season (playoffs aren't really their thing ), right lil mikey?

I guess I like to bandwagon for my country during the Olympics? The Sabres are one of the most succesful franchises since their inception. But you dont really know much about hockey so you wouldnt know that would you.

Do I need to define Inception for you? I know high school has given you fits so that might be too big of a word for you.
