The DVD is in the works, (no delivery timeline yet) and I am just awaiting the balance of the audio recording. The camera audio is unlistenable knowing that better audio is available and on it's way. This track features the improved audio.

I know you mentioned having this show before, but I really don't have any knowledge of this performance..
Was it an invite only/private show? It seems to fall right at the beginning of the US leg of the last tour.
Can't wait for the finished product!

There's an audio recording of Sam Roberts' opening set from 10-23-04 that is coming my way, but is taking its time getting here. When it does arrive I'll be sure to do my best to share it with the group.

amazing.... I was lucky enough to be front-row centre for this show....
My girlfriend was a little camera happy that night. I've finished editing the video, and I've synchronized the audio; now all that's left to do is make the menus, and burn it.
But before I do that, I'm going to ring the bell for last call for submission of photos for a digital slideshow. As it stands right now, this will simply be a DVD of the concert, but I have the space and the means to include a slideshow.
If anyone is interested, please PM or email me; but I need to know by tomorrow (Wednesday, May 11) night.
When complete, this show will be on the tracker.

Yes, you're right...it was a win to get in private show put on by 106.9FM The Bear here in Ottawa as part of their 10th Anniversary celebrations.
After weeks and weeks of constant calling (I'm not kidding, I conservatively guess I made 1,500 calls) I finally got in on the 3rd last day. It was absolutely awesome. The acoustics in the building itself weren't too hot...hopefully the DVD comes out well.
Thanks a million for putting this one together...it was a really cool night.

Goulet, I totally met you at that show thanks to your handy Hipbase shirt!
Good times. Show was ok -- ok setlist, bad acoustics, but what made it awesome was the fact that I didn't have to travel to see them in a club
looking forward to the DVD! I wish I had my laptop so I could donate some pics, but it's broken
Apparently dropping laptops on the ground isn't good for them.
I am in the process of encoding/burning this show to DVD; I will have it on the tracker later tonight, or first thing tomorrow morning.
PLEASE NOTE: You might not be able to burn this torrent to disc as it is downloaded. I have included in the audio in SHN format. These files are not intended to be burned to DVD, and as such, push the file size over the limit for a single DVD. In order to burn this show to DVD, please remove the "shn" folder from the DVD-ROM Contents folder. This will not affect the video.

That's a great idea to include the audio files along with the DVD. I have many shows on DVD/VHS that I would love to put the audio onto CD, just don't have the time to do the transfer.

I saw that the pictures were included in a DVD Rom contents folder. Are they just there to look at because I don't see where to access a digital slideshow on the main menu. Did you opt out of doing it. Otherwise, the dvd looks pretty good to me.

Yes. The taper, by his own admission, had had a few wobbly pops before and during the show, and it shows. But the sound is great, and it is a good show.

Since there were only a few pictures sent to me, and the disc was nearly full, I decided to skip the slideshow. The pics, and the SHN files were included so people could use them for whatever they want.
