hey all, i wasnt sure where to post this..so I thought i'd put it here...

anyway...yesterday I wrote my registered nurse exam in "watertown NY"...its the thing that lets me work as a nurse in the US if I choose to go...

anyway, during my exam, which i found dreadfully hard, I had a question that asked about what is most important in caring fora terminally ill patient....one of the possible answers was "getting the client to accept the inevitability of death"

I chuckled...started singing the song in my head...and ended up passing the exam in the minimum number of questions! I had never seen "inevitability of death" written anywhere out of hip context before..it was a cool thing to see...especially cause i was accepting it! :mrgreen:

anyone ever else have an exam experinece like this (or see hip-type references in something they totally arent?)

The N-CLEX scares me but I am going to a great school so hopefully I will be well prepared.

I've got a take home exam in Foreign Affairs and one of the questions deals with the "Rules Of Engagement."

Honestly, I think I run into a Hip reference in everday life at least once a week. Today while reading about the Sponsorship thing, I noticed "Trickle Down effect" in two stories.
