OK, after watching last nights Juno broadcast I've got a question. There were lots of Paul references last night so I was wondering if anyone knew the story behind Gord D's "introduction" of Paul during Fully Completly... "Mr. Paul Langlois", right after the "I ponder the endlessness of the stars, ignoring said same of my father" line.
As far as I know this is something he's been doing for a long time... anyone know why?
Paul was also mentioned by Alex L from Rush... he mentioned his squinty eyes.. that was pretty funny.
Gord has also dropped "Mr. Gord Sinclair" into Fully Completely if I'm not mistaken so it probably just depends who he's closest to on stage at the time.
I've also heard him introduce Mr. Johnny Fay as his father.
I've heard him introduce Johhny, Paul, the microphone stand and Kate Fenner as his "father" at various points.
I wonder what his mother thinks about all that?
For those of you that didn't catch it, the Rush reference to Paul was refering to Paul's reputation for smoking lots of weed. That's why he did the squinty eyes and the stoner laugh, and said "You know what I mean."

Paul Martin mentioned Bobby's hairdo and then Bobby was first in the dvd introduction-clips shortly thereafter(alphabetical), but I thought the timing seemed deliberate.
it was nice to see them focusing on the other guys a bit, as well as gord
