You find a check from the government in your mailbox that looks like it finally might be your long-awaited tax return that you sent in over a month ago, only to open it up and realize it's just a measly little GST credit.
How long does it take them to process those things anyway?? I'm getting a good chunk of cash back this year, and it seems like I've been waiting an eternity. I've got bills and speeding tickets to pay. Hurry up already!
I owe the government $4000 in taxes, so I pretty much hate any letter from those CCRA goons.
I find solice spitting on their HQ on the way downtown.

I filed our taxes online and had my return in my bank account within seven business days.

ditto..I miss getting those surprise cheques in the mail, I usually went out and blew it on CD's or beer anyway. As for the tax man, Dame you poor wretched soul, $4000 bucks!!! My regular accountant said I should claim the income I derived from pimp'n and pushin' (Peruvian Grizzly Tranqualizers... in case anybody's in the market) while my mob accountant advised against it.
You can image how upset I was having listened to, and "whacked," the wrong guy.

I did the taxes for my family and myself and NETFILE'd all of them. I filed my family's on a Sunday and didn't do mine until a Wednesday. For 3 days difference, I won't get my refund until 2 or 3 WEEKS after they did. What's up with that?????? Stephen, while you're spitting on their HQ next time, give 'em an extra gob for me, will ya? :lol:
Still, I'd much rather do it this way than using snail mail. And at least I am getting a refund. Owing them $4K? I'd just about go postal! :rambo:
