I have to add another vote into the "great site" comments, I've been poking around it for a while now and I expect I'll be doing it for a while longer
. The whole thing's laid out nicely too.

The best way to learn HTML is to get yourself a copy of Dreamweaver. You are able to to Design and see the code at the same time. At least I feel its the best way to learn, everyone has a diffrent way of learning.

I've heard good things about this Dream Weaver stuff from Chris, so I take it it's a quality product. I'll have to check it out.
Hey Gina and Stace, my mom's from the Cotswolds, are either of you in that neck of the woods?
I was thirteen before I realized that people in my own country say "line-up" instead of "cue" or que, or however you guys spell it. Bloody 'Ell!

What an amazing read... Absolutely incredible.. Your writing style reminds me of one of our local radio personality's shows.. The Ongoing History Of New Music, on EDGE 102.1.. I swear when I was reading the Three Pistols page again I heard him saying it!

A friend of mine is a HUGE Allan Cross junkie, so I'm sure he'll get a kick out of that.
But I'm nowhere near Allan's level. His Hip piece is so great it's scary. The Three Pistols thing was probably the most fun to research and write just becasue the references jumped out at me. I've been surprised that the biggest generators of feedback have been the origins of "Corderoy Roads" and the Niagara Falls stuff... so next up, a project about dirt roads and daredevils.

Great read Stephen. You continue to amaze me with the effort you put into being a fan of the Hip. That's really cool.

Excellent work, Stephen; I'm looking forward to digesting the entire site. :thumb: You probably couldn't if you tried, but don't ever stop writing.
I thoroughly enjoyed the transcripts of Cross's two part "Hipstory" but his perspective was one of awareness and acknowledgement while yours is affinity and understanding. To me, that adds more depth and generates more interest. Very nicely done.
Rock on!

It's "queue." Just to prove there *is* such a thing as a word with entirely too many vowels.

(Checking to make sure I spelled that right... it's so embarrassing when I put the q's and u's in the wrong places...)

Slightly shamed I had to look it up to be sure, but it turns out I'm not so far away when I'm at uni (my profile location) - about an hour away from Cirencester by car. Well now, don't you learn something new each day...

Depends what time of year it is for me, hehe.
I'm either in London - which is 40minutes from Reading - or back home in Wales with the family.

My grandfather is from Wales... says I haven't lived till I've been crawling through Cardiff on a "Sah-tar-Dee Nigh."

The first of the Friday updates is up. And this, thankfully, will be the last time I shamelessly plug it.

Steve, I was checking out your ottawa/quebec photos on your site, and they're really, really nice! I was quite impressed. :thumb:
