How about 'Rockin in the Free World'?

It's been done, but without Neil - Music without borders
I think it would be great if they did Blow at High Dough... if I'm not mistaken it was their first release from Up to Here, so it was likely the introduction to the band for most people. How cool would it be for them to play that tune again, as if to say "This is where things really started for us, so this is our thanks to all the people who made this possible".

And if Neil Young jammed in on that one, it would be the most awesome thing!
I no its only 1 song but id like to see them and other canadian musicians play a few songs to support their induction, but if i had to guess new song nashville, old song im feeling Locked in a trunk with Danny akroid on the harmanaka, that'd be awesome!
i say it won't be Gus or IAGLIYDW or Courage becase those three were played as theit most recent tv performances.

i'd give about the same good chance to: NOIS, Poets, or Grace Too

good chance for: Nashville, Darkest One, Heaven

outside chance for: ABAC, M@W, Blow At High Dough

i'd love to hear: Little Bones, Meridian, or Nautical Disaster just to fully display how hard they are capable of rocking

1 in a million "i'll shat in me trousers" if they play it chance: Greasy Jungle, Vapour Trails, Opiated, Locked In The Trunk Of A Car

I know they've done it but wouldn't it be cool to see Gord and Neil sing it together?

BTW, I was on the official Juno site last night and forgive me if I'm wrong, it seems like the hip are the only ones being inducted, no mention of Neil Young.

That's correct. Neil is already in the Canadian Music Hall of Fame. I'm not sure what year he was inducted. This is a big deal about Neil showing up because HE NEVER shows up at the Junos. It has to be over ten years since he's shown up at the Junos and he will be there because it is in Winnipeg. Neil being there is almost as big a deal as the Hip HOF induction, probably a bigger deal for a lot of people.
My predictions for the Hip performance at the Junos is 'One Night in Copenhagen'. I don't think they'll play Nashville because of the swearing.
As for a song with Neil... with all due respect to the Hip, I think a Neil song would be played, not a Hip song... 'Tonights the Night' maybe?
Cheers

But the Hip are the ones being inducted. It's their night. Maybe they could do one Hip song AND a Neil song.
seeing as all of Gord's heroes are women and all of them cinnamon, does anyone think we might get a little Cinnamon Girl?

if they were to do a Neil Song though i'd want to hear Heart Of Gold

OOOH ok, it was my understanding that Neil was also being inducted.

Thanks for the heads up
