Read the first paragraph of his online article on today's TSN.ca:

Haha, that's cool.
Or is Gord really a Bob McKenzie fan?
i know he was sited at the ampitheatre show this past summer so i guess he is a fan. Has anyone else ever seen him b4 at any other show?
I saw him at the amp this summer too!
i would say yes!
I knew that paragraph had set off some sub-concious alarm bell when I read it....
I remember seeing that when it aired on sportcentre during his insider segment, as soon as I heard it I thought it was a hip reference because I remember hearing that he was at the amphitheatre show this past summer.
And here I thought you were talking about Bob McKenzie of Bob and Doug McKenzie fame. Ka-roo-koo-koo-koo-koo-koo-koooo. Take off, eh.
I definately thought of that when I read the article the first time

funnier than the fact that Bob McKenzie said 'spring time in vienna' on sports desk (i refuse to call it sports centre) is the fact that the world hockey championships are actually taking place in the spring in vienna...
Hah, that's pretty cool, I did a double take when I read that too.
I saw Bob McKenzie at a Little Feat show this past year at the Phoenix in Toronto. The lead singer of the Feat, Paul Barrere, made a funny comment about hockey and I looked over at Bob for his reaction and he was all smiles.
