I started thinning at around 20, it became noticable at 23ish, I shaved it off in 97 and have been shorn ever since. (I'm 32) I absolutely love my shaved head...so low maintenance.

At christmas time I got a bit lazy and let my hair grow out a bit...turns out I have considerable gray on the sides now, and some in my beard. I shaved it all off yesterday, save for my goatee which has been with me since 94.

Yup, I gots some nose hair, some ear hair, slightly hairy shoulders...it's all downhill from here.

As for shoulder hair, one of my favourite Simpsons moments (...God knows why) is Homer standing in front of the mirror, shirt off, shaving cream everywhere, singing: "I'm shaving my shoulders"

So I guess Beavers and Homer aint bad company.
that was one of my favorite all-time Homer moments   too funny!

Dude, what's the name of the character in your photo? I'm rack'n my brain here.

Its Matt Groening I believe. I think its from the Simpsons episode where it was a spoof of VH1's behind the music. Someone back me up here?

THAT's Where it's from... when they show the older, angrier, thinner and eye-patched "Matt Groening" flailing a pistol around and ordering Troy McLure's cameras to "Git outta ma office!" Thanks.

Yeah, I watch way too much of that show.

I though it was a minor character from Futurama, but I can't track it down, so I must be wrong....
I'm a red head (YUM! for you Tom Robbins afficianados) and my hair is very thin. Got to grow a gotee (can't grow a full beard) just to make up for what my head is missing!

Nose hair serves a purpose...it filters out dust and microbes...it is there for a reason! But I keep mine finely trimmed.

Old?
Oh, Lord...

Old Folks Boogie
-- P. Barrere, G. P. Barrere

Off our rockers, actin' crazy
With the right medication we won't be lazy
Doin' the old folks boogie
Down on the farm
Wheelchairs, they was locked arm in arm
Paired off pacemakers with matchin' alarms
Gives us jus' one more chance
To spin one more yarn

And you know that you're over the hill
When your mind makes a promise that your body can't fill
Doin' the old folks boogie
And boogie we will
'Cause to us the thought's as good as a thrill

Back at the home,
No time is your own,
Facillities there, they're all out on loan
The bank forclose, and your bankruptcy shows
And your credit creeps to an all-time low
So you know, that you're over the hill
When your mind makes a promise that your body can't fill

Try and get a rise from an atrophied muscle,
And the nerves in your thigh just quivers and fizzles
So you know, that you're over the hill
When your mind makes a promise that your body can't fill
