It should be someone who, for a long time, has been consistently good but not widely celebrated, someone who has never captured and held the spotlight, but instead has been celebrated at various times for their ongoing, continuing hard work and excellent product. I think this is Brian "Killer" Kilrea, coach of the OHL's Ottawa Sixty-Sevens.
That's a good pick, and in a month, they'll both be hall of famers.

Razor Ruddock
I always liked him as a boxer and thought he was much better than he got the credit for.
good one.
Razor was up to kick Mike Tyson's ass and he chickened out and ran to Japan and lost to that wimp Buster Douglas instead.
Razor Ruddock would have stayed champ longer than Douglas.
I was living in Edmonton and that fight was going to be there.
(remember Don King's "Edmington" and "Edmingites" or whatever the hell he said?)
Huge loss for Canadian sport that one was.
He fought him later and went the distance most if it with a broken jaw. Not bad.
Kris Draper. Tough blue collar grinder. Three Stanley Cups. Very rarely nationally recognized as the tremendous player he is. And, this is coming from a Hawks fan. Also dug the one about Stevie Y. Totally underrated. Such a classy guy. What a hard worker too.
