TLB - You are correct.

They actually had makeshift (pardon the pun) yet real amps and instruments, and were playing "Nashville" live on the soundstage floor. It was around 7:00 am - but tight as hell!!!!

She's also in "the delicate art of parking" a documentary about a guy who loses his shit on parking enforcement, then comes around to love them...weird, but very funny. It's a fairly new flick.

I think that you are confusing Karen (the cop - Tara Nairn Spencer) with Wanda (gas station employee - Nancy Robertson).

Hank & Wanda from Corner Gas are both in "The Delicate Art Of Parking" but as I recall (and according to imdb.com) no Tara Nairn-Spencer.
Perhaps ddd444 can confirm or deny this but I could have sworn the LesPaul that Brent Butt was using during the episode was Paul Langlois' TOB...however I don't think that white Fender Jazz bass was Gord Sinclair's.

I'm like this with hockey too...."oooh look Mats Sundin is using the new Easton Synergy with the shock dampener in it" My friends' grill me all the time about stuff like that.

Goulet!!!
I only caught the "garage" bit in the ad. Did the boys have any further scenes in the show?

And yeah, I'm glad this show's doing well too. It's really well written and Butt (Although I find him as funny as a phonebook) has paid his dues.

I finally got to see it!!

I thought it was really cute. It's quite the funny show!

I loved that "don't tell me what the poets are doin'" line.

"kids!?!" Don't only like 80 year olds call people in their 40's and late 30's "kids"

Cute show and they were on camera the right amount of time...though could have gotten JUST A LITTLE more time

Otherwise, it was cool Big Grin

This caught me by surprise the other day. Corner Gas is ending, yes all good things must come to an end.. http://www.cbc.ca/arts/tv/story/2008/04 ... ml?ref=rss

I loved the show it was one of my favorites, not everyone liked it, but it did really well, especially for a Canadian show about small town life in Saskatchewan. You have to give them credit for that, too bad its done, but I can understand why Butt wants to go out on a high.

Rumor about a movie in the works also: http://winnipegsun.com/Entertainment/Te ... 1-sun.html

Guess Ill have to go buy all the DVD's now.
noooo!

It had a good run at least.
Bummer. It's one of our favourite shows.
Crap. This is by far one of my favourite shows! I'm gonna miss Brent Butt's sarcastic quips, and Eric Peterson's grumpy portrayal of Oscar.

And Gabe Miller playing Lacey...I think she's smoking hot.

Sad
Corner Gas is a great show. We still get 19 new episodes to enjoy next season. :thumb:

That perfectly sums up my entire outlook of the show, Gabe Miller is insanely hot. As much as I love this show I haven't seen even close to half of the episodes. I find all the reruns that are aired are selected from a pool of maybe 8-10 episodes. I need to go make some cash and buy the DVD's.
Anyone else see the season finale?

I was pretty pumped to hear the hip at the end, but they could have been much more subtle than playing "Fireworks exploding in the distance..." as fireworks were exploding in the distance.
What song was playing?
I didn't see it... but I'm just going to throw out a guess of 'Bobcaygeon'.
Bonner, read the post above again. Regardless I thought it was pretty cool, that show is just consistantly funny to me. It very rarely lets me down.
