I have my dad's old guild from the 60's, and am looking to learn how to play. I know a few chords, but that is it. I'd love to learn to play some hip songs. Could anyone point me in the right direction?

 I was waiting for that.
In one of Mick's other recent posts he said that he was drunk, so I figured I'd give him the answer, and a headstart on running from the Search Police.

Back to the idea of learning guitar... I recently discovered this site: http://www.tabs-guitar.com/

As a newbie learning guitar, it has helped me picked up some popular songs quite quickly. They don't have any Hip, but not everyone's perfect.
This isn't my jurisdiction. You need to call in grooveless touque for this one.
I find this site quite helpful.
