NMAS Wrote:Watchmen_ never got the attention they deserved from canada.
I have to echo that statement as well, Ive been a big fan of the Watchmen since day one, and having the pleasure of seeing them live on more than a few occasions felt lucky to have done so, now that they've split. I saw danny's new band Doctor live and picked up the album, and I think its well worth buying, not quite the same vibe as the WM, but danny greaves still can belt out a great tune and I think its a solid effort, worth picking up for sure, Im really enjoying it at the moment. :thumb:
For something relaxing on the acoustic tip.... check out David Gray's .... CD .... White Ladder !
Easy listen...... better yet find his DVD Live at The Point and watch that for some great live stuff from the heart....

Stars Set Yourself on Fire - keeps getting better and better
Interpol Antics - same as above
Rilo Kiley
Fiery Furnaces - Blueberry Boat
And you will know us by the trail of dead - the first single of their new album is amazing

Great call Jeffro!!! I was just thinking about this DVD yesterday and wishing the Hip would do something similar in the Bonus Features...basically they follewed David along the way on a tour of Ireland leading up to the Live at the Point show...there are some great moments and some great quotes. My favourite is that old Irish Poet when he tells that story about the girl from "Budapesh"...."and then she tells me she's got a boyfriend, and it's like ah fuck here we go again"
Goulet!!
