I always really enjoyed Oasis.

Oasis were a favourite of mine going through grade school. I still have my copy of (What's The Story) Morning Glory? which I believe to be their best album. Champagne Supernova and Wonderwall bring me back to the days of being really nervous to ask a girl to dance...maybe some things don't change (blush). I didn't realize they were releasing a new disc, or that they were even still a group. Perhaps I'll catch this show. I never did get to see them live.
i caught them 2 years ago in toronto and it was a great show. I dont really care for the Molson Ampitheatre though so I think im gonna try to catch the Philadelphia show because the red sox are in philly the same weekend! :jump
Love Oasis! Ive seen em 5 times, Im not too big on the Mols.Amp either, but its the only show in town, and I already scored some sweet seats. The new album drops in May, cant wait to hear it, the last one blew me away.
Oasis and the Red Sox both suck, let me explain it like this, Oasis are to UK alt rock in the 90's what the red sox are to baseball...overrated...while Radiohead are to UK alt rock in the 90's what the Yankees are to baseball...the best!
I love reading your posts because they make me feel like a god damn rocket scientist. IMO radiohead is garbage just like Arod. By the way the Red Sox are the World Champions and im sure you remember how they got there.

Um, I think both Radiohead and Oasis suck. Just my opinion; I'm not about to say that they universally suck and nobody should think otherwise, but I will say that I personally think they suck.
Oasis came out with a couple catchy songs back in tha day that, yeah (agreeing with fingernailsonhull), they take me back to grade 8 in like 96 or something when I was all fumbly and awkward around the finer sex.
But otherwise, neither bands do anything for me...

Radiohead are awesome, i'm not even a big fan anymore, but it's so cool to see a band that's commercially successful still pushing the envelope and unafraid to go anywhere with their music, still writing concept albums, still making eye popping music videos, and still selling out massive shows around the world, they're like a modern day Pink Floyd, not to say that they're anywhere close to being as good as floyd, or that they ever will be, BUT, they're probably the closest thing we have to a Pink Floyd these days, if you follow me.

Alice in Chains are one band that is for sure worse than Oasis. Man AIC they suck!

I think Radiohead went to the shits after OK Computer, I loved pablo honey and the Bends but I didnt care for any of their albums after that, just my opinion. And say what you want about Oasis, Im not as into them as I once was, but I still think they are a great band. There live show has always been great to me. Hey to each is own eh?

Kid A is by far there best release...see them live and im sure it will change your mind. Well, maybe not, but its a far better show than the hip put on :thumb:
