Well one of the lead singers of Blue Rodeo is doing a 2 show tour, and 1 of the shows was in my home town, so i couldn't miss it......
Well i never write detailed reviewes for shows (event he hip), but this was a night i will never forget, i have brought taping into the world of Blue Rodeo!

Well what a night to remember! The gf and myself arrived at the venue for soundcheck (the roadies were having peoblems with Jim's gutiar, or MIC)! We orded some food! (we didn't know the venue was doing buffet at 7pm) Ohh well! The food was still good.
Well after hear the James Mckinty & The Spades, they were pretty good to see live, and hope to see them in the future!
Well it's about 10pm now, and out some Jim, and the rest of the band from the back! What a solid set from the band. The viddle sounds simply amazing! Ann add's so much to the tunes. I've never heard a fiddle live, so i was so amazed), and Ann is simply hot, as well! (Ohhh by the way, Happy Birthday Ann) as later on in the night, we all sung happy birthday to Ann, and Jim bought some yagamisters for Ann during the show! Well honestly i can't remember, or would have known the setlist, as this was my first time seeing Jim solo! But i know if/when he does solo again, i'll be there!
It was nice to briefly meet a few other memebers, sorry i didn't talk much! Anyways, about my video girls, the video came out realy good! But the audio is crap! I tried using new mics for my camcorder, and the sound is not even listenable (i am so mad)! : (
Well when the show was over, after our 1 encore, some people sat down next to us with signed drum sticks, my gf was like...hey where did you get those signed? SHe let us know Jim was signing stuff, and there was a lineup... SO my gf took off with her cd! I was kinda watching my gf's shirt, and my video camera.
SO i almost forgot, as i made a copy of that stratford how i recorded and had posted up on here for doanload. So i ran over to tell my gf to please give it to him! Then i ran back to our seat to watch my video gear, but realized our camera was still on the table. SO i ran back with the camera, and it just so happenes my gf was next to meet Jim! So i stood off tot he side, as my gf got her cd signed by Jim. Then after that, she gave him the Stratford cd's! He was like, "Is he, here?" "I gotta meet him" SO my gf points to me, as i was standing about 5 feet away, Jim waves me over, and begin telling me! How Greg jumped on the boreds to see what everybody was saying about the new songs, and relalized the show was ready for download. So they have downloaded to hear it for themselfs, as this was the first time they got to hear thier new songs live! He thought it was great, and had no problems. Then asked what i used to record it, cause the sound was realy good, and consistant. So i told him! He was like, are you 'Already Gone' on the boreds! I was like nope! I'm hipfan! He was like what? I leanover to tell him my handle again, but still say it quietly as i am imbaraced by saying what my handle is! LOL He never said anything (so i assum i am still welcome on the boreds here) hahahaha But our conversation ends, and i say to my gf Christa! Get your pic taken! So i jump back a few feet to snap a pic! Then Jim says, come have one taken with him... So i jump beside him, and around goes my arm around him.... And he tells me to e-mail the picture to the site, i was like! Huhh? He's like e-mail it to the site! I'm like okay! Cause i am so inshocked! : )
So i get my picture taken with him! Then afterwards, i shake his hand and say thanks, and nice meeting him!
Jim is a great guy! : )
Also when my gf was in the lineup to get her cd signed, Ann was sort of running by, and my gf grabbed her to sign her cd, so she did, then my gf grabbed Bazil, and he also signed his cd! So my gf got 3 signatures! We couldn't see the other band members!
Well if anybody wants to see any video from it, just ask! But remember the audio is un-listenable, just to warn you!!!
