While driving into work this morning, Kirk Muller, was being interviewed on Kingston's K-rock. The reason for the interview is that he is organizing a 3-on-3 hockey tournament in February. Now I must say that I don't have too many details about the actual tourny other than there will be a bunch of current and ex-NHL'ers such as Kirk Muller, Doug Gilmour, Marty Turco, Wendle Clark, Joe Nieuwendyk, i think i heard Dale Hawerchuk....anyways you get the idea. He mentioned that anyone can put a team in the tournament as well. Towards the end of the interview he said that 3 of the guys in the hip plan on playing, but he didn't mention which 3....but then he went on to say that he hopes Gord will be in net, and that he better wear a neck-guard.

The tournament is taking place in behind city hall on the weekend of the February 19th....should be a good time.

If i could skate, i would love to put a team in and take shots on Gordie.

I heard this interview too! Kudos to Kirk for getting some amazing action right here in our home town!!
