Just curious.

The nerdy guy was Ed Robertson from barenaked ladies.

oh wait, the other guy... His name is Mike Smith from trailer park boys aka 'Bubbles'.

In season 3 of the show, alex lifeson is kidnapped and bubbles becomes his guitar tech. Alex and Bubbles played closer to the heart at the end of the episode.

Bubbles used to be in Sandbox, an alt.rock band from New Glasgow that I thought were pretty good.....

sandbox were fucking awesome. i saw them 5 or 6 times at a local bar.

I don't know if it was a fluke or planned....that episode, entitled "Closer to the Heart" was on Showcase last night.
