I went down to the CBC once i heard the Hip were playin cause i had to finish my autographed album i had gotten started late last year. They all showed up together as well as Bubbles. They signed the album and were really down to earth.(i think it was because i once again had my hipbase shirt on). Funniest part of the night was when Ricky and Julian pulled up in their ride, julian(or is it Ricky?) got out and had his signature rum and coke in his hand! Met Bruce Cockburn,Daniel Lanois,Barenaked Ladies,Tie Domi,Don Cherry,Bryan Adams and BILLY RAY!!!(the sixth hip member)......it was a great night and i wish i could share the album i got signed with you all as its a classic, Johnny Fay drew a little drumset under his name.....I`ll try to get a good pic of it soon.I got a pic of myself with Paul L but i can`t seem to post it on here?......anyway cheers
The power of the Hipbase shirt
If it could just work for me one day.

Sixth member? what you talkin bout
That should read "honourary" sixth member...Billy Ray in case you didn't know is the Hip's lead tech guy. He does the Guitars for Paul and Gord D, and pretty much all the grunt work there is to do...a real stand-up guy too. I offered him 500 bucks and a case of Jack Daniels for his Hat but he wasn't biting.
Goulet!!!
oops..accidentally posted twice
Congratts on meeting the boys! : )
And nice pics, thanks for sharing
Man, the Hip were soooooooo good last night. Dan Lanois was great too.
Nice pics, Tiny. Great one of you and Paul. :thumb:
AWESOME! Aren't they just THE coolest nicest guys?
Fantastic pics! That's a great one with Ron MacLean! Congratulations on those photos...it looks like you've gotten some great souveniers from this memorable evening.
